It is optional for students to be a member in one or more performing groups at Viva. It normally takes 3 months for dancers to learn their dance routines. Once they learn their dances, has the approval of the director and acquires their appropriate dance costumes the student is eligible to be a member of one of the performing groups. There is a $50 a year membership fee.

Viva Summer Recital
All students at Viva Performing Arts Center are eligible to participate in the Annual Viva Performing Arts Recital. Date and Location to be announced. The recital is a wonderful opportunity to allow the students to show what they have learned.
Viva Dia de Los Muertos
(A Glow in the Dark Production)
The 10th annual Viva Dia de Los Muertos Glow in the dark Spectacular is a multi-media dance celebration that explains the true meaning of Mexico’s Day of the Dead Holiday. It is the first and only glow-in-the-dark Dia de Los Muertos Production in the United States and Mexico. Featuring Viva Dance Co- performing Dia de Los Muertos dances from various regions of Mexico in vibrant glow-in-the-dark costumes. A school-time matinee is also offered to students throughout Tucson. For the past 9 years the school shows are a sell-out.
